Dr. Peter Sotos
Dr. Sotos has served Armstrong County residents since he completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1981.
He graduated from Athens University Medical School, Athens, Greece, in 1976. During his college and medical school years, he lived full time in Athens, Greece. Dr. Sotos completed one year of internship at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh and one year of general surgery residency at West Virginia University, Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, West Virginia.
His Orthopaedic Residency was completed at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During that time he worked rotations at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital and the Shriner’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Dr. Peter Sotos has been in private practice in Kittanning, Pennsylvania since 1981 and works exclusively at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.
He has served the hospital with many medical staff committee appointments and is currently the Chairman of Surgery (1996 to present).
